Festival

In 1999 ensemble “Schastlivoe detstvo” together with the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for children and youth held The 1 International Folk Dance Festival, which was attended by collectives from Bashkortostan, Mari El, Tatarstan, Georgia and Moscow, dance group of the Indian Embassy. The performances of groups held in parks, Palaces of Culture in the city Kazan, in the theater named after Kamal, Central Stadium on the August 30th – Independence Day of the Republic of Tatarstan.
From May 29 to June 2, 2002 in Kazan, the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan held II International Folk Festival . Range of participants of the festival has grown considerably. The festival was attended by collectives from CIS countries – Ukraine , Kazakhstan, Georgia , Latvia, Russia , Tatarstan, as well as an ensemble of Poland. The festival program included performances on concert stages of the Republic of Tatarstan ( Verhniy Uslon , Baltasi , High Mountain , B.Saby , Arsk ) and on the best stages of Kazan ( TGAT named Kamal , TBGAT Opera and Ballet Theatre named after M. Jalil ).
III International Folk Festival MDMS RT was held from May 29 to June 2, 2006. The festival presents concerts program of ensembles from European countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Latvia, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia and Tatarstan. Young artists were on the best concert stages in Kazan (TGAT them. Kamal, KSK KSU “Unix”) and the Republic (Zelenodolsk Buinsk, s.Pestretsy and B.Saby).
IV International Folk Festival MDMS RT was held from May 29 to June 2, 2008. The festival was attended by ensembles from Serbia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia. Guest of Honor at the closing of the Festival was the President of Tatarstan Shaimiev.
V International Folk Festival MDMST RT was held from May 29 to June 2, 2010. For the first time participated in the festival ensembles from Malaysia, Mexico. Also at the festival participated ensembles from Poland, Serbia, Hungary, Turkey, Latvia, Russia. Folk dance festivals were held in Tatarstan successfully, demonstrating the huge interest of the citizens of Kazan to the traditions and customs of other countries, and great respect for national origins.
VI International Youth Folklore Festival was organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, from 24 to 30 August 2012. The festival was timed to coincide with the celebration of the city Kazan on 30 August and was dedicated to the 2013 Universiade. At the festival participated creative teams from 15 countries including Malaysia, Taiwan, Turkey, Poland, South Korea, Argentina, Mexico, India, the Netherlands, Latvia, Hungary, Colombia, Canada, Serbia, Croatia. The age of participants was 16 to 24 years. During the festival there was an official meeting with the President of Tatarstan, a press conference in “TATMEDIA”, festive procession through the main streets of the city, concert programs in the best concert halls of the city of Kazan and Tatarstan (Chistopol Zelenodolsk Buinsk, rich Sabah). At the festival there was an action of Friendship in Sviyazhsk. Collectives participated in the opening ceremony international rowing competitions, visited sightseeing and entertainment programs in the water park “Riviera”, park “Kyrlai” and other activities.
